Udyogini is a New Delhi-based non-profit organisation that was conceptualised in 1992 by the World Bank to create a movement for women’s economic empowerment in India. Over the years, the organisation has evolved as an authority in entrepreneurship for women.
However, their visual identity had not kept pace with this evolution. To commemorate their 30th anniversary, they embarked on a remarkable journey of rebranding.
This visual identity project encompassed designing a dynamic logo, a persuasive pitch deck, and a cohesive brand language, along with other essential collaterals such as letterheads, envelope designs, email signatures, and presentations.
As an organisation dedicated to women empowerment and livelihoods, Udyogini sought a visually captivating logo that embodies the spirit of bold and powerful women stepping out of their homes against all odds.
We at Simit Bhagat Studios designed a logo that combines bold strokes, feminine curves, and nature-inspired motifs. Its dynamic design revolves around the silhouette of the letter ‘U’, conveying modernity and freshness for aspiring women entrepreneurs.
The rebranding exercise for Udyogini extended beyond the logo to create a comprehensive brand language. This language ensures consistency across all communication materials and enhances the organisation’s visual identity.
The communication collaterals not only convey professionalism but also reflect Udyogini’s commitment to excellence in all aspects of their work.
The outcomes of this rebranding project are a visually striking logo and a cohesive brand language that resonate with Udyogini’s core values.
Through its bold and empowering visual identity, Udyogini aims to inspire women to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams and challenge societal norms.
